How we handle personal information collected through this website. Last updated 2 September 2026.

Who we are

This website is run by Goliath Marketing Ltd, registered in England and Wales under company number 11732589. Our registered office is 64 Jersey Street, Ancoats, Manchester M4 6JW. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this site.

Questions about this policy or your data can be sent to info@goliathmarketing.co.uk or by calling 0161 521 0015.

What we collect

Enquiry and call-back forms. Your name, phone number and the service you're interested in. If you choose to add them, your email address, business name and a message.

Usage information. With your consent, analytics and advertising cookies record pages visited, approximate location, device type and how you arrived at the site. Without consent, only strictly necessary cookies are set.

Correspondence. Anything you send us by email, phone or through the site, so we can deal with your request.

Why we use it and our legal basis

To reply to you. Form and call-back submissions are used to contact you about the enquiry you made. Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who ask us to.

To run and improve the site. Analytics help us see which pages people find useful. Legal basis: your consent, given through the cookie banner, which you can withdraw at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

To measure advertising. If you accept advertising cookies, Meta and Google may match your visit to ads we run. Legal basis: your consent.

To meet legal obligations. Keeping records we're required to keep, such as accounting records where you become a client.

Who we share it with

We don't sell personal data and we don't share it with other companies for their marketing. We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf:

  • Resend, which delivers form submissions to our inbox by email
  • Vercel, which hosts this website
  • Google (Analytics and Ads) and Meta, only where you've consented to analytics and advertising cookies
  • Our accountants, insurers and professional advisers where the law or a contract requires it

Some of these providers store data outside the UK. Where they do, transfers are covered by the UK's adequacy regulations or by standard contractual clauses approved for UK use.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that don't become client work are deleted within 24 months of the last contact. Client records are kept for six years after the relationship ends, as required for tax and accounting purposes. Analytics data is retained according to the settings of the provider, typically 14 months for Google Analytics.

Cookies

Strictly necessary cookies remember your cookie choice and keep the site secure. They don't need consent.

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) and advertising cookies (Meta Pixel, Google Ads) are only set after you click "Accept all" on the cookie banner. Choosing "Essential only" keeps them off. You can change your mind at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser, after which the banner will appear again.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

  • Tell you what personal data we hold about you and give you a copy
  • Correct anything that's wrong
  • Delete your data, where we don't have a legal reason to keep it
  • Restrict or object to how we use it, including for direct marketing
  • Provide your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent where consent is the basis we rely on

Email info@goliathmarketing.co.uk to exercise any of these. We'll respond within one month. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113, though we'd welcome the chance to sort out any concern first.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this page if our practices change and revise the date at the top. For anything else, head back to the homepage or get in touch.
